Plat = nealry pure metal 95% it does have porosity problems which are taken care of by adding another metal usually palladium (shitty Kay Jewelers and the like) ruthenium is the good alloy, this stuff is used by highline vendors and reputable manufacturers. You also need better training experience and more expensive tools for platinum work.

White gold is brittle, prong work snaps because of this rather than merley shifting. The white metals use to allow yellow gold leave the unfinished ring a buttery yellow color, you have to plate it with rhodium, a platinum group metal. This plating wears off leaving it buttery yellow. White gold is a Jewelers dream because it has a continual maintainence charge associated with it due to plating and prong work.

Gotta be a (((devil's))) advocate here. Moissanite is currently running 80% of the price of diamond for the same sized stone at a lighter weight. Moissanite is visibly distinguishable with the naked eye from diamond and is unquestionably less durable (30-40% of the hardness). It has cleavage planes that make it more likely to cleave in standard settings too. Plus, the market for Moissanite is controlled by two companies (arguably one). Know what you're getting, brother.

Not saying you should go for diamond, but this is just another set of kikes selling shiny rocks as a diamond replacement."
