The main Plants Vs Zombie Tower Defense mode is ridiculously boring and you'll spend most of your time in it for farming but at least it's Auto-able so you can multi-task.

I've gone point blank and still gotten targeted with the typical 8-9 range final attack that most bosses have. The only way to control that is to get them to waste EN, or Will which is again, mostly futile because the majority of bosses have EN Regen and start with very high will.

The quick summary is that the free Event units that you get have a Level 1 bonus while the Gacha ones have a Level 3 bonus and the bigger bonuses are likely to be exponentially higher than the smaller ones even though they only display the numbers for drop rates (Level 1 is 30% and Level 3 is a whooping 200% increase for drop rates) - so free Event Units is mildly competitive with a random non-Taiki SSR while the gacha ones will rip through the entire stage on their own.

Just how important is morale limit break anyway? I know it's equivalent to 20 to Melee/Ranged/Defense but is it worth sacrificing blocking for?

I'm also wondering if Attack Again is worth it on anyone else aside from Apollo and Gainer. Touga, Tetsuya and Roger have above average skill but considering 1200 PP plus at least another 20 points in skill can instead be invested into 44+ points in the Melee stat it really becomes a questionable investment. I just leave Amuro's skill stat at base since he doesn't even Attack Again all that much given Fin Funnel is an ALL attack."

Way I see it, your Reals can dump Blocking because only bosses should be getting decent number against them, and you shouldn't be leaving their survival up to the RNG.
For that matter, Morale (Evade) is a better fit for folks like Amuro and Garrod, because there'll be plenty of times where you'll dodge, but won't want/be able to hit back.

All in all, Break Morale Limit is important-ish, but there are much more high-priority stuff. Morale+ Skills, EN/B-Save, Hit & Away, Guard/Predict... I'd say all those are more important, especially the first 3.

I'd say Attack Again is essential just to Gainer, Apollo and Kei. Duke and Touga have the Skill to make good use of it, yes, but I'd say they have more important stuff to get first. As for Amuro, I'd say keep it since he gets the skill for free (if you set him in the Zeta, he can get a lot more mileage out of those double attacks)."

I think you get two of the parts that give Battle Spirit super early so you can just give it to them. You're really overrating Morale skills and the Morale situation on Hard - it just changes +1 Morale from killing each individual unit in a squad to +1 from killing the entire squad, so regular SRW speed instead of three times as fast for no reason, which is still more than enough given the average SRW enemy density from mid-late game.

Besides, if everyone is going to have a Morale skill, then you want Morale+(Destroyed) instead of Hit, which works better across the team - the rest should only be used very specifically on key frontliners who will be taking the brunt of attacks.

Z3-2 is mostly shat on because the story, which 99% of people here cannot read, is supposedly pretty bad. Also it uses face portraits on 2D maps, which is actually kind of unacceptable on the PS4.

Mechanically, Z3-2 is a big improvement over Z3-1. Most of Z3-1's stages can be beaten by a single pair in one turn while getting all the secrets and Battle Masteries, while most of Z3-2's cannot. The Z-Crystal is a rough prototype of what's evolved into a rather nice system by the time of X. The Sidereal bosses are some of the few SRW enemies that are actually capable of threatening the player in any way. The endgame isn't a mind-numbing slog like Alpha 3's. For the other side, if you're smart, you can get a 5-unit team that can negate all of the OP unit's abilities and finish them off.
