you need a hunters license which is about 2.500€ and takes quite a time to aquire. being a hunter is a job here, not a hobby. you can't just get a temporary license and go somewhere to hunt. you need lots of paperwork and I'm pretty sure it's impossible without being a permanent citizen."

with a quick course 3weeks +tests, at least 3k +some expenses here and there.
but no way without citizenship.

and, you cant just go in any forest and take game. need also agreement with the landlord and so on.

in case you got an animal, it need to be tested and bought back.

all in all pain in the ass, no fun allowed here!"

What the fuck is wrong with you germans. Why so much regulation over hunting? Is it because you're all scared of weapons? Scared of violence? Why the fuck is it so expensive?

In America we call them pest control specialists. Only really get to hunt down south where the hogs are though."

If you ever visited continental Europe you will immediately realize why. There is nothing to hunt. The whole continent is basically asphalt, industrial farmland and some scattered lawn and parks.
The place is so overpopulated that if they were allowed to they would rip the remaining wildlife off within months."

Also, getting a hunting licence is the easiest and fastest way to get and keep a gun.
I really suggest you inform yourself about Germany before you move there! You seem to have no real idea about the country.
From you pic, it seems like you have a very different idea of hunting than what it is here in Germany. First of all, hunting is not really an /out/ activity, in the sense it is seen here. Let me show you a typical hunting day in Germany:
>5:30, your alarm wakes you up
>have breakfast, grab your stuff and get ready
>walk to the bus stop
>get the bus to the train station
>get the train to the car factory
>work your 8 hours making the best cars in the world
>17:00 take train and bus home
>have supper
>grab your stuff and get ready
>take your SUV and drive out of town
>drive deep into the woods (i.e. 5 minutes)
>park at your raised hide
>get on top of your raised hide
>sit there all night, hoping that some deer comes onto the clearcut in front of you and that no night bikers or runners shy them away while listenting to the gentle sound of the autobahn in the distance (~1km)
>kill nothing
>get into your car
>go home
>go to sleep at sunrise and dream about how this "privilege" costs you 10k a year and that you also now are responsible for everything that happens in your neck of the woods
Oh, and inb4
>lol, cucks, mohammed, ccuckcuckcuck…
it certainly could be done somewhat different, but not by much. With the amount of people and industry in this country, american style hunting is simply not practical.
On the other hand: No mass shooting, no opiod crisis and good health care and good public transport, so I'd call it a draw."

I think that one is a tad easier, but also every stretch of river is "owned" by some local fishing club that you need to contact for a permit or something.

If you really just want to shoot something european, maybe check out Austria? I think they have some small trophy hunting tourism industry."

Move north, senpai. I would too if not for the shitty winters and my lack of qualifications.
Norway has mountains and low population, it has to be decent. Or just get a traveling visa to NA and overstay your trip, if you know what am sayin'"

A hunting license in Germany includes a firearms license. It will be impossible for OP to get one.

This. It's almost impossible to get a firearm there. Even the German military is literally forced to use broomsticks or maybe because they have a witches as defense minister and chancellor"

Cant set up a tent for more than 24 hours or spend the night there.

On the other hand If its the goverment forest, you must ask permission from the forester to sleep or camp, but permission is given only in the designated spots.
If it is a private land you must ask permission to even be there.
The 24 hour rule, I believe applies if you are in buttfuck nowhere and you dont have signal or signs that give you information what kind of land it is.
But if they dont like you, they can tell you to fuck off or write you a ticket."
