A group of friend and I were discussing warfare in a Post-apocalyptic world. We reached an Impasse when discussing what types of weapons and gears they would be using, I and a few others said Guns, artillery, and armored vehicles in small quantity, while a few others insist that Bows, swords, etc, etc would make a resurgence.
A third group said it would be a mixture of both.
Who would be correct in the scenario?";

What do you think this thread's first 2e playtest game will be like, other than a pregen module?

What killed the Sword and Sorcery genre?
What opportunities are there for anything that isn't Medieval Europe fantasy RPGs to thrive? Legend of 5 Rings and Starfinder seem like they might do alright, and of course Star Wars will survive for the foreseeable future. But other than that, I feel like roleplaying is a hobby only for white people."

In pic related we have a fairly basic setup in a friend's basement, got a DM screen from a relative that came with a standard adventure for D&D 5e.
We don't have too much money to spend on things as of the moment considering we work some rather low-end jobs. Instead of buying several sheets of graphing paper to work on dungeons we use a makeshift dry-erase grid, black for terrain, blue for PCs, green for allied/neutral NPCs, and red for hostile NPCs.
We've got some wooden chairs which one of our players find a touch uncomfortable, which isn't exactly wrong, so we use pillows for cushioning.
While it's not visible in the frame of this picture, we have another table nearby where we keep our handbooks.
It's a pretty decent setup for what we do and there usually aren't many complaints, as we only really have 4 people at the table max.";
