I play it, it is really good for playability without micro transactions. As your city grows it may eat your battery abit while you play as it is quite a heavy game.

In terms of /n/ it has a traffic simulation but is is fairly easy to cheat by filling the map with bus stops.
You can get trains and motorways.

I would recommend it,it essentially a mobile sims city."

I personally find it pretty fun on PC. The only problems are:
>There's no undo button, so if you make a mistake you have to start the whole puzzle from scratch
>You have to hold down the mouse button to draw roads, and you can't rebind it to a keyboard key, so playing it for extended periods invariably makes your wrist hurt
That probably isn't much of an issue on a phone's touchscreen, though."

OpenTTD's default economy is too easy. Play with infrastructure maintenance, expensive trainsets, make sure you have cargo distribution on symmetric passenger/asymmetric mail and for bonus points symmetric for freight as well so you have to deliver to all secondary+ industries equally across your network (this one might not actually make sense).

As for urban transportation, the game really lacks a metro and suburbia is an inevitability (though you won't make nearly as much money from it due to lack of passengers). Trams are the best way to go for the dense urban cores since they hold more than buses and unload faster (some would call it cheating, but then, trams need more space to U-turn.

And for goodness' sake, play with an industry pack like FIRS, the default industries are boringly simple."

Can you recommend any mods for it? Are there maybe mods that increase the complexity / fine tuning for scheduling?

I recently got the game and vanilla feels like OpenTTD with nicer graphics (but much more laggy) and less options. It's a nice game, but not being required to build huge stations and hubs doesn't quite satisfy my autism."
