String comment = "This is a thread created for the discussion of quests and all things regarding them, as well as general whinging about different platforms and fatalistic predictions about the board's future.
Please do not shitpost and please ignore at any shit posters attempting to derail discussion or cause strife. Or at the very least make your shitposts entertaining. Outing yourself as severely mentally handicapped for example, while briefly entertaining, sort of derails discussion like nothing else.
This link contains numerous writing guides, general advice, and various quest tools and communities. It is recommended that you give this a glance if it's your first time to the board and highly recommended if you are thinking about QMing.
These are two directories containing the tweets of many current QMs. While a twitter is by no means mandatory, it is a useful tool for both you and your players. To get added to the second list, tweet @tgQuestList. Spamming tweets unrelated to your quest may result in its removal.

(Can provide useful feedback and critique to QMs looking for help and is another way to promote your quest. Is also a way for players to get in touch with their QMs if they are also on the Discord. The only rule is if you need to shitpost at least be entertaining about it.)
Archive of quest reviews (It has now been very nearly a full year since the last linked review. This may sound shocking, but people like to hear opinions about quests. If you're feeling saucy then you ought to take a crack at it. It's not like you have a reputation to ruin.)
What is the one type of main character you would never write, whether because you hate them or you wouldn't be able to write as them.
How much established characterization for the MC do you prefer when starting a new quest?
Describe a quest in the most vague terms you can and see if anybody can guess it. Don't feel bad if nobody can guess it since we aren't all reading the same quests."
