Start with a single suit until you learn how to dress and you can get use out of it everywhere. Avoid stripes unless it's very very subtle and almost the same colour as the rest of the suit. The suit should look plain. Typically twill, sharkskin, pick and pick, or birdseye. A dark navy or dark grey/charcoal suit will be fine for every occasion where you'd wear a suit. I find the navy is the default recommendation in the US, but I prefer charcoal because I think it lends itself to weddings and funerals much better and is more somber. Wear plain white poplin or twill shirts with a spread collar or semi-spread collar. Wear black oxford shoes, or semi brogues. Consider a navy blue, probably grenadine, tie for every occasion which isn't a wedding or funeral. Consider a lighter colour tie for weddings, usually a silver or something monochromatic, like a black/white puppytooth tie, maybe a pastel green or yellow if you want colours. Consider a plain satin black silk tie for funerals. You don't need a vest. You don't need a bow tie. Look at permanent style blog for more information. Experiment more when you have the absolute basics, usually shirts and ties are where you experiment but you keep the suit and shoes on the safe side.';

Two buttons is just standard now. It’s not that you can’t go for three but you said you’re an autist so just don’t deviate.
Drop is not really about slim fit as much as waist taper. Slim fit is slim throughout, but drop might mean tight around waist but not shoulders. Don’t even worry about drop really. Go to a menswear store or a department store and ask to get measurements. You don’t even have to buy anything. Once you have measurements just get standard fit stuff in your sizes and then get tailored to your liking. Personally, I think slim fit suits would terrible. If you’re a real lanklet you might need slim fit but probably not. You want a standard cut that is not slim but not 80s classic core either, which is what most suits are nowadays. Slim fit is fine for shirts though.';
