Why the fuck would pajeets learn about Martin Luther in history class? If you're gonna lie at least make it believable'

So basically they were critiques of the current doctrines of the catholic church. I'll leave further explanation to an actual protestant. I find Luther fascinating.'

Basically these are the only two topics we learn in History class
>Indian history (60% of which is British raj)
>Renaissance in Europe (probably because I went to a catholic school)'

Don't why there was so much emphasis on the Renaissance stuff though. The two world wars got less coverage in our textbooks than 1500s Christianity.'

Even protestants view him critically because he was often used as a symbol by nationalists and said bad things about women'

Wait, people find him problematic because of how he talked about women, and not about Jews? lol'

It stands out more, especially since Catholics worshipped a femoid. Hating jews is expected from any historicsl figure.'

Luther generally has a good reputation, at least that's my impression and I was raised catholic. The reformation didn't just create the protestant chruch, it affected christianity as a whole and made it more accesible. Luther translated the bible into German, so more people than just clerics who could read latin were able to read it.'
