'Heritage is legitimately great. One of the best things they've ever done. Very soundtrack-like so it doesn't have much in the way of traditional song structures, even prog ones. But the vibes on that thing are unmatched. Both metalfags and progfags got filtered.
Pale Communion is good. Not great, but good.
Sorceress made some missteps with its production and the lowlights just don't really work at all for them, but the material is mostly very strong; highlights are on par with any of their albums.
ICV is their weakest album since Orchid, kinda feels like Pale Communion Diet, though i do remember the leadoff single for that one being a clear highlight.';

I really love classic 70s prog but I've struggled to get into these albums. Their death metal stuff is just better to my ears. It looks like they are releasing a new album this year, so we'll see what direction they take that one in.';

For my money, their early work was better. The covers in particular leave a lot to be desired, and they could benefit from a lot more cowbell. You can never have enough cowbell in a song.

They're...fine. Competently made, but nothing terribly exceptional. I do think they get marginally better as they go along, with Heritage being their worst album in general and ICV being decent enough, but none of it touches their previous run of albums by any means.';
