The corkscrew is easy if you clip the first curb and have your suspension just soft enough to not spin, the problem is controlling your urge to take advantage of the slop to accelerate too hard.
No LS is a niggered track because of the FUCKING SAND and almost every turn being banked so you need to take them flat out but god forbid your tires get 0.5mm into the FUCKING SAND cause you'll end up spinning.
And that niggering banked hairpin that will trap you into a spin if you try and accelerate too hard out of it.

On a hunch I plugged the values under _xzizin_coords into an online byte to 32-bit float converter and noticed they were all very reasonable sounding values for vertexes. I then assumed backs were 32-bit integers for texture indexes/surface flags to indicate the back side of a surface just like in the track editor and this seemed to match up as it just had a few non-zero values and in the zizin texture they matched up to black squares like the backside of tires would be.

Using the number of "backs" there were I assumed the number of "pols" was the same and that it probably was short for "polygons", the number of bytes I had for _xzizin_pols divided evenly by this so it seemed very likely that it was an array of 12-byte structs. _xzizin_anms appears to be texture indexes that mostly line up with wheels, so it must be animations. _xzizin_places is still unknown to me but it's way too small to be the thing I really wanted after coords which was vertex indexes and texture indexes for the main model, that means all that data must be contained in _xzizin_pols.

After staring at the data for a little while and knowing things like how many vertexes there are and how many texture tiles I came to the conclusion that the first four bytes are the four vertexes of a surface and the fifth byte is the texture index. Probably 6-8 are surface flags just like every other texture value though I have yet to confirm this. The last four I haven't figured out exactly yet but since they are usually 255, 255, 0, 0 and sometimes something else I imagine it's to do with the animations.'

The polygon I am using to try and figure this out is at line 298 in the ZizinPlans.h header file, it has a 32 bit (assuming?) texture index of 0x00002a03 (10755 in base ten) which turns into a texture index of 3 when you just take the first byte (the roof) with bits 13 (unknown), 11 (display back texture), and 9 (also unknown) turned on. The last four bytes in the polygon struct do not appear to be related to this but idk.'

You got it! That worked perfectly. Surface bit 9 is the one that determines looking it up in the animations array. Now the only pieces of car data left to figure out are the last four bytes of the polygon struct and whatever "places" is. I also wonder what surface bits 13 and 15 do, doors/rockers have bit 15 set and wheels have bit 13 set. Maybe that determines when the animations change, 15 for changing car number, 13 for animating motion.

Oh and the mirrors and underside are still fucked up because I haven't implemented "apply texture" properly yet, but I know how to do it. When it's not checked it's supposed to just get the index into the palette instead of the texture and make the whole polygon that color. I'll fix that next.'
