Shit, one of the many "don't park your car in or near a flammable structure" recalls was because the tow package wiring was over torqued and a fuse wasn't free enough for them to protect their customers.
And then there is the theft problem. Their solution to their lack of immobilizers in the US was allowing customers to, at their own expense, buy an aftermarket immobilizer. They wouldn't even chip in for installation costs.

The only one is the Mini Clubman, which is 17.5 ft3 / 47.9 ft3

All other wagons are $50k+ from Audi/Volvo/Mercedes or have a CVT (Subaru)

As for sedans, while they might have more trunk space than the fit, they don't generally have as much total space since their rear seats don't fold flat for more storage.

The Camry for example has 15.1ft3 in the trunk, and no way to fold the seats flat.

Went to the mazda dealer today, test drove:
Mazda3 hatchback AWD turbo
CX-30 AWD non-turbo
CX-50 non-turbo (all trims are AWD)
CX-5 not considered it's just too soccer mom

In general they all fell well put together with good quality materials and handled/drove well, though I wouldn't necessarily describe them as "sporty" (except maybe the mazda3 sort of but not really). Not that they handled bad or anything rather that the ride quality seemed more focused on comfort.';

Surprisingly quick (5.9 0-60 supposedly) plenty of power for merging and overtaking, didn't really feel like you were going fast but you could be doing 90. Less shit boxy than I had imagined, especially the interior, though it's fairly small. Visibility isn't great either. It's basically at the bare minimum of usability for us the missing space from her Alltrack was pretty noticeable. Taller adults probably wont fit in the back seats. I'm also a bit worried it's low enough that if(when) she hits a curb it would fuck something up

Despite not looking that much different than the 3 it had a decent amount more space in the back, and better visibility (there's an extra little window between the rear doors & rear pillar that's not there on the 3). Front interior space was pretty much the same maybe slightly more headroom. It's not any longer than the 3 so the extra space is just vertical. I'm 6'-2" and could sit in the back seat fine. My fiance said this one felt most like her Alltrack overall but more comfortable and she liked it more than she anticipated. The non-turbo is not slow but definitely not fast, basically at the minimum level acceptable for us to not be annoying.

The CX-30 would probably be better as a general commuter (the majority of it's purpose) and is more of the price range we had in mind, but the CX-50 is making me do some soul searching. It's a little bit more car than we need, but it would be a lot nicer for road trips or whatever. It's a newer model though and is gonna be a bit higher price than what we originally had in mind. The extra ground clearance and space is pretty nice, and the interior is surprisingly nice. Forgot to say - the non-turbo trim was kinda sluggish. Probably not unusable for sone people but we would have to opt for the turbo (a decent amount more expensive than original planned budget).';
