I don't think I go to Jumps where it's a problem, but there's a very specific type of protagonist that makes me seethe. It's the kind that lacks self-awareness and lucked into incredible power somehow, but they constantly diminish their own feats and inadvertently slander anyone and everyone who put in the effort only to fall short of this cheat strength. This is generally an isekai protagonist thing, but it sometimes pops up in other genres. Saitama isn't really this as he acknowledges himself as strong and his strengthserves a narrative role. What I hate is when they're objectively the strongest in the setting but call themselves weak constantly, and also when they ignore any explanations or evidence that would alter this world view.
