Summers have been boiling hot in Denver the last few years. Upper 90s every day for weeks. Winter you get all the arctic winds and snowstorms that come with living on the high plains. Spring you get the severe weather. Seattle may be 50 degrees half the year, but if you're white, you shouldn't find such temps intolerable. Weather in Seattle is overall much milder than Denver.
Denver has a worthless little river called the South Platte, while Seattle mogs with the Puget Sound.
I can't say how Seattle's street scene compares to Denver's as I have never hung around Seattle, but my little podunk Colorado mountain town has more life on a summertime weekend than Denver does.
And Denverites are just as anti-social toward strangers as anywhere in the American West. It's a hallmark of the region...everyone is tired of seeing new faces come and go.
