Vicksburg is known as the Arlington of the South. It's an excellent place IMO. Every state has its own statue.';

I visited to museum and got driven around the battlefield last year. It was pretty cool. The southern states all had monuments for them, and many northern states too, though they were more focused on the regiments.';

Haven't been to Gettysburg but I recently visited the battlefields of Shiloh, Chickamauga, and Franklin, as well as Forts Henry and Donelson. It was fun. The parks are actually pretty beautiful and you can drive and walk around and trace the battles. Most of these sites are free. I recommend doing a little reading the night before. I guess you're memeposting but that's my serious answer.';
