tried to install AoE:RoR trial today but didn't manage to get it working, Somehow AoE:RoR works fine. I think it still worked in Win7 so a VM would be last resort.
Dgvoodoo didn't work, My guess is the demo installer makes an unecessary check whether Dx5 is installed even if it might work without it.';

Just tried it, it worked fine for me on Windows 10. I had to set the installer file to Windows 95 compatibility mode to get it to install, but after that it ran fine.';
