On the first gen everything looks soft and nice but it's lacking some detail and after enhancing it, it did acquire more details but at the cost of give it more color saturation and sharpen up lines

I think I understand.
Loras aren't separate software or a separate extension. They're additional pieces that allow a model to understand a certain concept like that character.
You need, at a baseline, the ability to generate images locally using Stable Diffusion. Loras are like step 2 and it sounds like you need to get to step 1 and generate images locally without loras first. Once you generate your first image, I think it'll become clear.';

Download the LoRA and put it in the same folder as MS Paint, should be in the WindowsApps folder. Make sure you rename the file extension to .bmp

Then you want to find a folder called C:\Windows\System32. Delete that folder before running MS Paint or the LoRA will produce what we in the community call deep fried/blurry images.';

Unlike in the earlier days of 1.5 where there were some inpainting fine-tunes, most XL models are fine at inpainting as-is. This is even true of later 1.5 models like Based68. Don't use base Pony v6 because it's shit at inpainting, but I've been using AnimeConfettiTuneXL and it's breddy gud.';

The test run of three threads has almost concluded, so let's now decide together whether it should stay.

The poll: https://strawpoll.com/DwyoDJDBJnA (no "I don't care" option because nothing would change whatsoever for those who are indifferent about it, whether the themes stay or not. Poll is mostly for anons who have an opinion about it one way or another).

Some thoughts from (me):
- the overall participation level across all three threads is just enough for me to suggest that we should keep it going. It was meant to be a "side activity" that wouldn't necessarily take over threads, and it kinda somewhat almost turned out as intended;
- Although I tried going with the themes/challenges that would be appealing to most, it is hard to predict if it will be to everyone's liking or not. Take the "remake your old gen" challenge, which I thought would be one of the more fun and straightforward challenges to do, and yet it received the least participation, definitely less than I expected. This could be remedied by having only the more generic and unchallenging themes (like "spring", "insertholidaynamehere", etc.), but where's fun in that? That said, we could and will sprinkle in some broader themes in the future (if this thing stays) and I still have enough ideas in store, not to mention that anyone could suggest their own at any time.';

The weapons themselves were txt2img, I inpainted the sheath from the second pic. naiv3 is pretty good with weapons. Not 100% success of course but good enough.
I did some weapon gens before that on 1.5, but it pretty much always required controlnet to get something coherent (usually MLSD+Canny). Should try animagine some time, hopefully it's gonna be decent with weapons too.';

Personally I stopped using it long ago.
Because it felt it didn't only determined the pose itself but the style as well.

For example if you used a pose and the proportions in the pose were stretched the character would appear more slender or tall that you initially wanted, same way

Also, it seemed to consume lot more memory to gen and take it more time.
Specially with XL I prefer just taking my chances with genning and if I dont like the pose I stop and make another gen';
