I'm gonna be honest with you guys but it's the same for me, when I just draw I do improve a bit but I'm essentially reinventing the wheel when I could skip hundreds of years of learning by doing just reading about perspective.';

I to am a retard who learns very little by drawing a lot, and who gets the most information out of it being explicitly verbalized by someone.
That said, drawing a lot is still important so you can observe the theory stuff in practice and that helps you to fixate.
But if I haven't been exposed to the information before, then drawing will do me zero favors in learning it.';
