It's pretty hard to go wrong with a striker fired 9mm these days. Pretty much all work reliably. Even shit like a Taurus G3 will run reliably, theres just no reason to buy one because you can get something objectively better in every way for like $50 more. The only thing on most pistols that isn't easily changed are the ergonomics (how it feels in your hand, position of the buttons, etc), which aren't typically adjustable beyond the backstrap panel without sending it off to a gunsmith.

Do yourself a favor and set aside the time to ACTUALLY visit a sporting goods store and get your hands on a few first. I know nobody actually follows this advice because men get their hearts set on an ideal of something, but I'll give it anyway. Just don't buy whatever shit they're trying to push on you unless the price is good and you really like it. Shop around.'

Glocks have a unique grip angle everyone calls "the hump" that sort of forces your hand into a particular position which contributes to that balance you're feeling. Some people like it, some hate it. Bear in mind grips can only *sort of* be changed on most polymer pistols, in that you can change that portion on the back, but the rest is set in stone. M&P has a leg up in that regard, too, since changing the backstraps doesnt involve any other tools. Glock and CZ need a hammer and a punch to drive the pins. Not a real problem of course, but much more convenient if youre trying to find the right backstrap size for your hands while at the range.

Among those three, I would go with the M&P as the most practical choice. Around the same price as a Glock but all of the standard features are better. If you decide on one of the others, though, neither would be a bad choice.'

They didn't say but it's been like a year? If you've noticed, the DWX full size dropped and flooded gb. Those were eventually mostly bought up, then the DWX compact dropped and gb was flooded with that dogshit. It's still flooded with it, with not a single new full size in sight. There's a few used offerings, usually above MSRP. It's been a while, so maybe if they're preparing a large batch to dump but I don't see why they don't just stream out smaller batches if they're being actually produced.

Unfortunately I don't have any good news.
I have checked with all necessary internal bodies & unfortunately we cannot

Not shipping via Consol Service as expected.
According to our compliance department, we would have to send the shipment directly & including insurance,

because it is oil for weapons and therefore falls under our compliance guidelines.
Under these conditions + that the goods would have to be secured in FR,

Shipping would be 3x as expensive (approx. +/- 1200 euros).

I'm really very sorry, but I have to comply with the corporate guidelines/guidelines

Unfortunately, it has no influence and can therefore not be easily avoided.

According to our accounting, shipping should only be paid in advance

be carried out & we would first have to send all documents for final review

Forward compliance department. Only then would shipping be possible.

Ehh, that's semantics. The included tool and the other options are substitutes that serve the same purpose as a punch. The tool also only works for taking the pin out; with the way Glock molds their Gen 5 backstraps, I've needed to hammer the housing pin back in if I actually put one on. Meanwhile, with an M&P you straight up just rotate the lanyard tool and pull it out, then push it back through the new one. You don't even have to actuate the sear lever like they suggest unless you want to.'

They're not similar to the 2.0 at all though, imo. Not a brand loyalist by any means but I'm confident M&P 2.0 shits on its immediate competition pretty hard when it comes to the grip. Say what you will about their aggressive texture, but I know very few who don't prefer it when it comes time to actually shoot. Has 4 backstrap sizes as opposed to the normal 3, and they also wrap around to the palm which most designs overlook. Does anyone know anything about the 3.6" barrel M&P 2 compacts? Basically compact length grip but halfway between a compact and subcompact length barrel. Its kind of like a fatter slide version of a g43x without mag issues. Seemed kind of cool.

Decocking is an administrative task that not only doesn't require a convenient control, but actually benefits from having it be out of the way.
Additionally, the specific way that Beretta 92/Px4 decockers work lets the hammer fall all the way instead of onto a half-cock notch, which reduces wear on the sear.
>but the safety
It's a DA/SA, the safety is only there to lock out the trigger while grunts are loading and unloading the gun. You aren't supposed to carry it that way, and accordingly how easy or difficult it is to take off safe is irrelevant—also it's trivial to take off safe if you aren't retarded'

Do not bother with any other brand, those old “mil spec” third party mags are actual trash.

Mecgars also pretty cheap. It’s also basically the same magazine body used in many other MecGar magazines, so extended baseplates for caniks may also work on them. Like Taylor Freelance canik baseplates work, +4 baseplates in about the same size as the +2 extended baseplate from MecGar.'

That same logic could be applied to any process. Voids in casting going unnoticed, machining jigs set up improperly resulting in batches lost, etc. QC doesn't apply exclusively to MIM

I wouldn't buy a S2C—a handgun that, by its nature, costs as much as some rifles—just for FOMO reasons, especially not as your first handgun.
You will eventually buy a G19, or some other Glock-brand Glock, just to see what all the hype is about, so you might as well get it out of the way.'

Lol my 10/22 is stained with that smell. Like 98% of the ammo I shoot from it is Aguila. It's also filthy. Works well when I'm not lazy and actually do a good clean when I should. If not the filth gums up the gun and mags lol.'

I suppose the real problem is the 1:1 transition from drop-forged steel parts to MIM ones with the behaviorally-implied assumption that there would be no teething issues or the like, akin to all the polymer AR lowers that merely reproduced the original part in plastic and snapped in half under the buffer tube threads accordingly.'

The fundamentals are the same for all handguns—point it at the spot on the target where you want the bullet to go and press the trigger straight rearwards—it's literally just $1300 MSRP for the S2C vs ~$600 for the Glock and spending the rest on literally anything else.
Again, if the S2C turns you on and is what you need to be motivated to actually take the gun to the range consistently, that's more important than money.'

P-01 is decock only, with a firing pin block and lacks an optic cut.
S2c is manual safety, without a firing pin block
So unlike a normal 75B, where some might still carry it decocked and not locked, you shouldn't do this with a S2compact. And at the price point, you may as well get an 2011 or 1911 or even just settle with a CSX. Depends on if you value DA being available as a failure mode option instead of being the safety.

>>61472661
The attributes you want in a CC gun are usually at odds with what you want in a plinker and especially a race gun.
The P-01 is $650 on a bad day. You would have to get an optic cut, but then you would have an option to direct mount instead of using a plate, if you don't mind the wait times.

Still up to you. If you need it you need it, but you don't need to waste money on a fucking glock.'
