I put 3 AR-15s to hammer in the point that there is a distinguishment from the M4A1 colt and the HK416. They are also very popular, relevant weapons used. The m16A3 is the obligatory full sized M16.

i mean it's used by the military in the same roll as a full sized assault rifle with it's only defining feature being that it has a shorter barrel. When i think of carbine i think of some semi-auto smaller gun for civilians like a ruger.';

Like others have said, G3 is a Battle Rifle not an Assault Rifle.
I would also add that the HK-416 is not a unique enough of a design to differentiate it from am AR-15. While it does change the operating system from direct impingement to a short stroke gas piston, it's essentially the same in other aspects including appearance.
The SIG 552 is a derivative of the SIG 550.
The same can be said about the M4 and M16.
You should include the AR-18. While the G36 uses very similar internals as the AR-18, it's enough of a derivative to warrant being considered a different platform.
