The KSG's main complaint is people short stroke it due to how hard it is to unlock and lock when pumped. It's because it has two tubes to unlock and relock so it needs double the force. This was addressed in the KS7 and it's reportedly much easier to pump, thus less likely to short stroke.

The M&P12 is the perfected version of the concept, though imo is ugly and too expensive for a shotgun. It has controls in better places and other features that I forgot about. I haven't looked into these guns in years but look up some reviews on the M&P12 as well and you'll see it's got some advantages.';

Magpul VFG
I ended up way overpaying for it, but it's really nice especially in the suburbs of california. I like the way it takes down, and the rail.

if you end up buying one, I'd reccomend this setup for a light, sling, and optic:
Romeo 5.
Streamlight (the small scout footprint one)
Arisaka 45 degree offset scout mount
MS1 sling (but whatever works, this one fits nice into the sling mounts.)
