get something cheap for $100. if you're still playing after a couple months, move onto something with weighted keys (look to spend around $500-$1500 depending on your budget/what quality you want). yamaha, roland, kawai and casio are good brands.';

honestly any of the reface keyboards (cp and cs are best imo) would be a good starting point. i have long fingers and still find the mini keys to be plenty comfortable';
