If you're just starting out, go front, easier to get in and out of. Back zips once you get more experienced (the trick with back zips is to use a really long shoelace - or two shorter ones tied together - to pull the zipper up). Neck entry and shoulder zips are the step up from back zips. Just make sure you get crotch zip for the practicality.
