The wolf has the best weapons, the lion has the best paint job, and the tiger has the most dynamic martial pose. The bow is a little oversized on the panther while the ram and crocodile have great detail, yet poor weapons. The weapons can be removed with difficulty from what reviewers say, making it not really worth it. I wish there were a leopard figure that combines the pose of the tiger with the overall look and body of the lion. The range of motion on the elbows and knees looks to be fairly disappointing considering the double joints. Hopefully they're better in hand, but if this review is accurate...it's almost a waste to even have them be double jointed.

Otherwise I'm excited for these guys. I ordered mostly Lizardmen stuff with a few random later wave figures, so my first shipment should be lots of fun. They also scale way better with Legions then I was expecting, so that's a nice surprise, or at least it will be when I get my humans in hand.

I'm aware of that, and I don't think these figures are bad because of their limited ranges. I just feel that they made a big deal about "reinventing the wheel" when it came to the joints that seeing them get the same range a the latest Mythic Legions knight is kinda disappointing. Even without gear, as >>10969916 points out, those elbows only go so far. So we get wonky looking elbow joints with no real bonus to articulation.

The knees get better range though, and that's nice. Again, a lot of work for some fairly unimpressive results, but at least they're better then a 90 degree bend. But the best joints are by far the ab/waist double ball joint. Definitely will be getting a lot of expressive use from those.
