Same reason Star Wars TVC used to be 10-12 dollars and now they are 17-20. In addition to inflation and China not being the go to place for cheap labor anymore, companies are greedy as fuck and just want to make the most possible money with the least possible investment.

That being said, S7 products are almost always way too expensive for what you get. Their Ultimates line is trying to exist in the Figuarts/Hiya/Mafex range, but they quality control and engineering is worse than Marvel Legends.

If you notice the majority of the new discounts are Disney properties. We saw similar discounts when they lost the rights to Fox properties and MOTU. The licenses typically have a sell-through date to liquidate your stock, and we're seeing S7 trying to make back what they can before they have to bulk dump everything to retailers like BBTS.

I agree that their Disney/Simpsons lines are pretty sad, but most of the TMNT series is really good. They're 6in scale of the original 4in line with updated movement and multiple hands/heads. I don't know if you collect any of the TMNTs, but at least the original 4 turtles are worth checking out especially if they're on sale.';
