these are actually my exact issues with shf lol. I'm extremely selective with them because of it. My other issue is the non standarized scale. On one hand I'm happy they experiment with shit like anya but on the other hand I can't pose her next to a conan for example. Really heartbreaking. SHF is fairly good at making monsters and their bug men but humans and anything with a normal anime face looks like shit. DBZ figures included. They just look off. My one's pretty bad as far as figma go, she's the only one I have a list of issues with. Stand doesn't fit into her cape, hat doesn't stay on, eye patch misaligned with face, face plates kinda loose and her staff connector broke on me (only figma out of dozens I've ever broken, easy enough to diy a fix though). Her eye effect is finicky and I think that it, along with her explosion magic circle, just look ugly and aren't worth the hassle. Imo she should have come with a smug face too
That being said she's still cute and looks good, I don't regret getting her. She just isn't as fun to move around and mess with as a lot of my other figmas, with all the little nuisances adding up to make her frustrating. Hope the reissue smooths out some of the stuff for you guys getting her';

All in all it's still a nice figma and I'm liking it more than I thought. The weird joint setup goes beyond the thigh swivels and the much discussed ab crunch. It has individual pull-down hip joints a la figuarts, and the shoulders are simple ball joints. They're positioned in a way that gives the shoulders enough articulation without leaving visible gaps, but they're still not as poseable as drawer joints, obviously. They're serviceable enough though.

But her simple desing truly makes posing her pretty fun nonethless.

As someone who owns a shitton of figma with the rubber cover setup I disagree. They were way more stiff. There's also the thing said before about the bendy plastic getting warped. Those looked way better, but I never liked using these joints for that reason. Also most of them only had a single joint, not ab + chest joints.

I still enjoy the series but seems like the hype only comes around when an anime is airing
sadly the liella figmas came out after S2 of superstar ended and couple that with unappealing MSRP and less accessories than the other two groups, they flopped hard
makes me sad because the second season introduced five other girls
I'm betting GSC and max factory decided not to continue making the rest of the members because of how badly the figmas sold and it's been almost two years
I'm hoping the third season will change their minds because I really want a figma of natsumi, shiki and margarete';
