These 2 eps were really great. I was honestly more excited to watch Yorukura this season and Garukura wasn't even on my radar, but this show is really good. I really like Nina's character. I can give it a half-pass for hiding too much about Sakiko because of the sequel like you mentioned, in fact other details too like what's the point of Mutsumi existing other than being bullied or why have two autist characters in the same show, why Soyo couldn't forgive her despite them trying to redeem her (at least partially)? It's all setup for the next show and I'm alright with that, at least it's something to look forward to.';

I think the fact that so much of it is set up for the next show bothered me a lot more than I initially realized. Like I get it Bandori franchise and all, they've gotta keep people interested in the bands and what have you, but being kept in the dark about like literally everything regarding the original bands members was a little annoying. Like at least we did get the little reveal about Sakiko's home life at the end of episode 13 which at some point you just kinda start figuring it's probably something along those lines (gonna guess maybe her parents got divorced or something and/or they lost a ton of money because she initially lived in a huge ass house). Mutsumi though we get absolutely nothing.

Also no lie, I was telling a friend who had originally got me into playing Bandori years ago (I stopped playing a few years back) that Ave Mujica just feels like Roselia on steroids to me

All that said, I might give the Ave Mujica anime a watch next year because I am curious about this whole pivot to edgy band members they seem to be doing';
