I've only played 3 evacuation missions. One we had to full restart because the civillians would stand in front of the escape door and refused to go in, we had about 9 stacked there, tried killing them all and sending some more, also bugged at entrance.
Also had to immediately restart the game on the tutorial because the barbed wire youc rouch under was 'too low', and you couldnt crouch or prone under it (saw this was reported by some on the Steam forums so not just me). Bugs bugs bugs...'

Since I had a blast after being completely roboraped a couple times, here it goes my cheap/early loadout

SG 225 breaker, P19 redeemer

This shotgun has so much rate of fire you can unload them on devastators and berserkers, just try to aim to their heads and reposition if they start stunlocking you to death.

Sidearm is good in a cluth against lesser enemies.

>Stratagems
Fire mines, mortar sentry, basic MG, Laser rover

The key here is to deploy the mortar sentry on the helipad and the first mines on the main crossroad a bit ahead since is an easy bottleneck and those klankers like to target the mortar.

You should deploy the 2nd minefield a the right side of the safety door where is an open space, just dont call it too close or dumb civilians will step on the mines.

The is just sprinting between the 2 civilian doors releasing them and holding the opposite side of the mortar and minefield, you can use the gatling sentry too but it eats up his ammo way more quickly because it tries to take down dropships with 0 succes rate

You can easily defend the extraction point with the mortar and the remaining mines on the crossroad, feel free to add another minefield if its up'

No, but trust me when I say that by the time you reach challenging difficulty you'll be fucking thankful for how 'slow' this game's movements feel.

I guess it's more of a thinking man's TPS. Being really good at fast aiming, 360 n0sc0p3 CSGO style, doesn't really improve your gameplay all that much. Positioning and teamplay is much more important. You need to know when to call in stratagems, which bugs to target first, where to place sentries, where to place yourself on the map, when to fight and when to run, etc.

Even something as simple as moving your mouse carries risk/reward implications since the crosshair trails behind your aim for a bit, especially with heavier weapons. So you need to think about whether switching targets is worth it. I already died a couple deaths to fucking critters hitting me from behind because by the time I turned my machine gun 180 degrees to face them they had already chipped away half my health.

And even when I managed to face them in time I was feeling bad for wasting machine gun ammo on friggin critters. But switching to pistol would have been even slower. Lesson learned: deal with fast bois first, and do it like twice as early as you would do in other games. They might be deceptively far away still, but they'll catch up with you sooner than you think.

Basically it has slow and methodical movement like a tac shooter but also the adrenalien and split-second decision making of an arena shooter.'

On one of those extermination missions there were FIVE FUCKING BILE TITANS crowding the tiny ass map at the same time. Railcannon misses or doesn't kill them, orbital laser is fairly effective but slow and limited uses. Eagle rocket pockets are ok, but will only strip armor. Best thing I've found so far is to run breaker(bugs) or slugger(bots) with the quasar for headshotting titans and chargers but if you can't get the space to get a shot off you're fucked.';

I don't know what it is about the hell divers community, people ingame seem so mad about everything, they take the game way too seriously, coming from drg it's so disheartening. Every other match I join has people literally screaming into the mic when someone does something they don't like. The kick ability is abused way too much too.

I think this one like all DoT weapons is bugged currently. Most of the DoT effects only work on enemies if you're the network host which I've heard is randomly decided and different from being the game host.

Also I hate how confusing (visually) the armor is in this game. It doesn't feel consistent. Some bug/bot body parts look like they are less or more armored and it doesn't match up with their actual armor value and what weapons do or don't penetrate them. A good example is the warrior bugs with all the thick armor padding on front, medium shots penetrate it but it looks like it shouldn't while the flimsy ass looking bile titan head tanks shots from everything.

Explosives in particular feel weak as fuck a lot of the time but maybe that's a wonky hitbox issue. Sometimes it feels like a missile collides head on multiple times with a charger or bile titan head and nothing happens.'
