In terms of the actual models, SV are far ahead of Colo/XD in both poly-count and texturing. Some of the Stadium models looked bad even on the Gamecube, like Kangaskhan, Eevee and the Machop-line. Where Colo/XD (and even the Stadium games) shit all over Gamefreak is in the animations and camerawork. HAL and Genius Sonority create a level of immersion Gamefreak still hasn't, and likely won't ever, achieve.
