On another note, Buddha got to have his fill of sexual degeneracy and everything in-between. This is why I find it so funny when I see people trying to compare themselves to him and take the part of asceticism when they haven't lived half the life he has, not even one tenth of the amazing life he has.
I'm not surprised he became an ascetic, he got to have his fill of the pleasures of life. I will never become an ascetic unless I get to do the same. there's no logical reason to do so.

I gave up for the most part drinking carbonated beverages because I didn't want to over-consume sugar (for health reasons). I may drink it like once a month if I buy a meal and the drink comes with it, but I'm mostly just drinking water.
But for most of my life I just bought and drank these things whenever I wanted, and the only reason it was so easy to quit, is because I "had my fill". I got to enjoy it as much as I wanted, so now it's out of my system. The pleasure of drinking it is "normal" to me now.

He got enjoy all the sex he wanted from a young age, all the food he wanted, all the everything he ever wanted, because he was royalty.
