having an individual day for each major muscle group means I can do some extra volume and really condense my energy expenditure. sessions are shorter too which is nice. you might also think the frequency of hitting each muscle group is too low, but I've found that having 4 days of rest for each muscle group guarantees 100% recovery by the next session and that has helped me perform better and progress quicker compared to upper lower or ppl etc where you only get 2-3 days.'
