Got my OG RD M9 Gernsbacks and man still cleaning them up hahaha!
Like I was hoping nothing functionally wrong, but holy crap the cigarettes' smell was just horrific on them; and the original owner must've been a prolific smokestack as these are one of the few of my 'cleaner-uppers' that had tar staining throughout. For some reason partially dissembled, with most parts mixed in a single ziplock(done by original owner) and some back in the weirdly almost pristine boxes; with parts in the wrong boxes as well.
Almost a week of regular rinses in heated up dish soap baths, and the smell is gone enough. Putting them back together, and reapplying some white to the mouth plates that thankfully flaked or dissolved off during the clean. Was too yellowed to leave as is, and was a bit scared of trying to paint over that.

There's no fixing something like that without taking it apart, and good luck taking apart a pre made figure without breaking anything. You could some cement or super glue to fill the crack, but it will seep through anywhere it can, so doing that will fix the wing in place and you won't be able to move it after';

That’s what I figured, saw some stuff online about putting some adhesive around the outside of the crack (and since the crack is underneath any excess would just drip down instead of into the joint), so I might give that a shot. Like I said the joint still works since the other connection point is intact, just a tad loose for my taste. Yeah, that was my plan. Right now the part that is intact still has enough friction to hold poses, so unless that changes I don’t plan to try any tightening fixes, worst comes to worst I can always just prop it up with a clear stand arm if I really need to.';

I've been considering getting rid of my DX YF-19 advance to grab the arcadia version because I think I might enjoy the simpler transformation and cleaner anime look more.
Though if they end up releasing an HMR YF-19 in 6 months which is just that design but scaled down and modernized I may just go for that instead and get rid of the DX altogether.

The Arcadia's got some nice things about it, but honestly there's a bunch of small nitpicks that peeve me off with it, from the canards that have no means of self-retention relying on pure friction to keep in place, to the legs having to be fully extended in fighter mode which results in exposed knee joints when viewed from the side.

When you have it standing right it looks really good, but it has about as many small frustrating things in its own right as the DX 19s do. Enough so that I'd recommend not letting go of the DX and instead keeping it alongside the Arcadia.';

To be fair I also think the Fire Valk and the M7 VF19 sculpts are a better execution of the underlying skeleton than what the MPlus YF19 does.
