Then you have the shelf guys who pose a figure, once, throw it on the shelf, and never touch it again. It also depends on what exactly you define as play. I, for instance will do toy photography where I make up a whole scene or something with my toys. Could it be considered playing? Sure, I'm posing my toys in interesting ways, sometimes trying to tell a little story with pictures, but I'm not fwooshing and booshing my figures together making pew pew noises.';

A bit but it's fun and when I was a teenager I did worse things to have fun that weren't childish but were much more unhealthy

No because they don't know really, I have my own house but I only keep my toys in my bedroom, the rest of the house is decorated normally so they know about my other past times like reading and cooking
Buying toys purely for display is even gayer than still playing with them, animations are the coolest thing to do with them, and I used to do that but it takes so long that I don't do it much now';

Yeah, I still do, but as others have said I don't do the full *Pew Pew* thing. I also don't know if this counts as playing but I always keep one in my flannel pocket and kinda...do that thing as a kid looking out a car window, imagining a man running along side the car. Like I imagine I am me, human sized and at work with others, but underfoot and behind corners is my figure doing Metal Gear stuff.

Nah, I honestly like what I like and do what I like and don`t feel a need to explain, or really over-explain. I don't know if it`s confidence or autism but yeah, really don`t care about anything of the sort. I bust out manga or my PSP on break and wear obscure horror/punk/weeb stuff all the time too. You only get one life, so make yourself unhappy (while also not hurting or annoying others) and cater to normies?

Eh, Mom tried and failed, and I think the general IDGAF attitude I have towards personal happiness vs societal norms would stop anyone from trying. You can`t really expose or humiliate someone who never really wanted to be a pawn in the rat race to begin with.';
