You don't, damage is cumulative. That's why a permanent UV filter lens is so important on helmets, even auto-darkening ones. It's not the flash itself that burns your retinas and leaves lasting damage but the UV in it.';

I like this a lot. There is a bunch going on here.

>brick house with interesting lines and colors
>multiple layers of strong power lines going through the picture
>strong blues, greens, warm browns, reds and then a magenta pop of color
>everything in focus, taken in the dramatic golden hour
My biggest grip is the amount of grain in the details in the distance. This would make a great picture for a 1000 piece puzzle.';

I've heard that explanation used to explain why so much of the music of the boomer-era artists that are still releasing is mixed like absolute dogshit and sounds awful (stones, ACDC, Motley Crue,etc), basically that their hearing is shit so it's all mixed at the same volume and in a very narrow band of frequencies since the boomers can't hear the high and low freqs
>Wonder if that is what drives boomers to deep-fry their photos.
my biggest problem with a lot of the HDRshit and retinal drain cleaner is that it just compresses the shit out of everything, to the point where you lose any sense of depth. I think the issue is that they have a total lack of artistic facility.
there's never any negative space, it's the photographic equivalent of drinking diet coke and having a steak with A1 and cajun fries then calling it cuisine.
>>4300479

>Ken Rockwell is not a photographer.
>He isn't? Wow, you've gotta be kidding. Pffft.
>No. I am not kidding. To be a photographer, one must be a human mind convinced it is using a camera.
>He's a sentient program, a being of pure spirit without material presence, states of electricity and light moving through the fiber optics and supercooled graphene conduits of a neural network just as our real bodies would move through the soup of atoms and waves of energy. But in this world, he is boundless, godlike.
>An agent in the employ of the simulation, the images he tells us are "photographs" are produced directly by his own willpower, without the actual use of equipment.
>If you were paying attention, you would have noticed. Look, Neo
>He hasn't even taken his lens cap of-ACK
>I see you've noticed my secret, Morpheus.
>But before you go, please support...
>n-no! N-
>...my growing family
>...The Nikon D5200. Now that's a Camera.
>Us real photographers know it's the color that makes the photo, that's why if you have an artists eye, you shoot Nikon.
>*saturation: +3, picture control: vivid*
>If you want to make good photographs, you don't need more than a D300 and the tack sharp kit zoom.
