Kinda been thinking about a IIIx and this looks like a cool version with some gimmicky horseshit filters built-in. I guess it's appealing simply because I do not have a Ricoh GR yet.

But I do have a Pentax MX-1 and it's super fun. And it's got a better lens than the newer GRs.

The GR III/IX is already just as sharp and detailed as current release crop sensor cameras.
Thats the whole point of the camera, good iq in a little package.
Sure, you could slap on a 30 or 40 mp sensor, but that wouldn't really make much of a difference.
