Primarily it was made for video color grading (100% Rec 709) but I have find it to quite color accurate for most photo editing as well, even without always hardware calibrating. Rarely I have had to change color on pictures because of print issues.
Lightroom Classic for image cataloguing and editing. I go to Photoshop only if I need to. I also use it for printing. I'd like to get out of the Adobe cuck monthly payments and thinking of trying Capture one. Replacing Photoshop seems to be the bigger hurdle, maybe I should try to use Affinity. I used to video edit in Premiere and grade in Resolve, but I am slowly moving my video editing also to Resolve.';

Some decent 6K monitor I got from a friend who used to work at electronic arts. Ever so often in Vancouver they blow out their old equipment and people who work there by it or they sell it friends. I got this one for $400 and it went for nearly 3,000 when it was new just 3 years ago.
I tend to just do a bit of cropping, because unlike most of you idiots you're actually know how to frame my photographs properly, do a proper exposure for the look I want and not waste time doing shit shots.';
'I use krita or paint.net for editing and then I check the photo on my iphone. Idk how to fuck with screen/monitor calibration. I've looked into it a little bit, but the calibration for windows shit just doesn't seem like it's what I'm looking for.';

Any tutorials you can recommend?';
'>>4302458
Idk. I'm not sure if the tutorial matters too much, a lot of what I've watched was actually lightroom and photoshop tutorials (and the krita ones I've seen are more for drawing), and I just try to copy it in other software.';

A Gigabyte AORUS 43" 4K monitor and Lightroom Classic. Since the monitor's also used for watching streaming content and occasional gaming, I wanted something a bit bigger. The colors calibrated pretty good. I like having a larger view of before/after, too.
Lightroom does pretty much all I need and there's always updated new features coming out.
