unironically this, all you need to do is check a few things:

There are certain third world places that are slightly cheaper but the quality takes a nosedive.
I frequently use agoda and find deals on GOOD hotels for <$10/night in Thailand. One time I got a 4 star for $2 by stacking discounts. Booked a month and saved $1400 kek.
Apartments are even cheaper even in great locations. I just don't do 1 year contracts so it's a hard pass for me. Food is super cheap especially street food. You will never find anywhere like here.';
