String comment = 'Anyone ever walk the Camino de Santiago ? I'm considering quitting my crap job and walking this after travelling Ireland for a while. The Frances and Norte are the routes I'm considering. Any input or tips ?';
'thinking of doing this as well. haven't hiked much but staying in this shithole any longer will probably kill me faster than exhaustion. what counties/places in ireland did you go?';
'Did a bit of the Norte starting in St Jean. Had to quit due to blisters. Not sure I'll ever finish it, but it was a fun few weeks and I met some awesome people.
My tips:
- Keep your pack as small and light as possible
- No cotton, only merino
- Don't wear boots
- Hiking poles will save your knees. You aren't a boomer for using them
- Know some basic Spanish';

Most of it looks boring, and doing any kind of religious Pilgrimage is cringe. Just got to Picos de Europa';

Nigga hasn't done the Mt. Kailash pilgrimage';
'There's a good movie called the Way about hiking the Camino. I also liked the documentary Walking the Camino: Six Ways to Santiago
Personally, I have no desire to do it. I've done some 3 day hiking and backpacking trips and that's about all I can stand. Maybe it's more tolerable if you stay in Airbnb's and hotels along the way.';
