buy everything on credit if possible. idk how your country works but none of my cards have foreign transaction fees. mastercard has best forex rates iirc, lower than exchanging currency. if your just gonna be in miami beach and tourist parts of miami, everywhere will take credit. keep $50 or something like that on you though just in case'

Use whatever card doesn't charge the most international fee's if at all, some banks do some banks don't.

My Chime card has 0 fee international travel so I just do that, most banks will often charge somewhere between 1-5% depending. Call your card/bank help line and ask what their international fee's are. If you intend to spend a lot then it might be best to get some cash out if you have fee's, or just accept the 1-5% exchange rate. Prepaid credit cards can be gotten at any walmart or 711 no real account needed just pay in cash for them.

Without knowing what your bank actually has in the terms of fee's it's hard to say if it's even worth getting cash out or not. I will have my bank App on my phone to monitor and alert me of daily balances to keep track of everything and look out for possible issues with charges.'

they may ask you about money, anything over ten thousand dollars cash has to be declared (that's like nine thousand euros), you can bring them in but just have to declare. Cards are fine and a good proof of funds available for the visit.'

They might ask if you have funds or if you have hotels booked, just say yes and be able to show them a place you intend to stay with your booking. If they ask for funds just show them your credit cards, they don't care that much.

They aren't going to ask for that much, just call your bank and make sure they know you are going to the US and not to block transactions as many anti fraud factors will often alert.'

Credit cards also protect you from fraud because if it's stolen.. it's not your money being stolen.'
